  • Solo Walks and Runs

Some dogs would benefit from gradual socialisation, social reintegration and/or gentle training before joining a group walk. If this is your dog, we will walk it on its own. Once we have established a relationship with your dog, we can walk your dog on one of our long leads, giving them the freedom to explore their surroundings whilst still under full control. Some dogs may never be suited to a group walk, such as anxious or older dogs who prefer to take things at a slower, gentler pace. We will continue to walk these dogs alone, which at least ensures they have our full and undivided attention.

At the other end of the spectrum, some dogs may benefit from a run! If your dog needs a lot of exercise or could do with trimming down, why not allow it to join me on my morning run? I have been running with my own dogs for the simple pleasure of it and I am sure your dog will love it too. And if you are training for cani-cross, some extra training could your dog the leading edge. The route is approximately 8km (6km if your dog is slow) and we aim to do it in around 45 minutes, but it could take longer, especially in the beginning. Overall, your dog dictates the pace although not the start time, which is always between 8am – 9.30am on week days and between 9am – 10.30am on the Weekend.
